Devon Open Studios starts tomorrow. There are two Shaldon artists involved this year, Sue Evans and me. Conveniently, we are both on Salty Lane (well almost, in Sue’s case). We have collaborated on road signs so we should be fairly easy to locate. The studio has undergone a major re-arrangement (and a clean-up!) to make it more gallery space than working studio, which makes doing any large canvasses a challenge, so I’ll be desk-bound doing smaller stuff for the duration. Do call in if you’re passing, or even if you’re not. I’m open Saturday 10th to Monday 12th, 11am to 6pm, Thursday 15th, evening only (6pm – 8pm) and Saturday 17th to Monday 19th, 11am to 6pm.
I have a range of landscape and abstract paintings – some of the former are done plein air (like the above, admittedly done from the shelter of a canal boat!) whilst other are painted in the studio. I hope to see you ate some point.
